Abstract

Currently, the Marine Engineering Department is building a steel ship with the name Multipurpose Series 1 ship. This ship was built with the aim of being a learning medium so that students understand more about the form of construction on ships, both in terms of the materials used and the names of the parts used. is on the ship. Apart from that, this ship is also used as a medium for practicing ship repair or ship repair. However, currently the Multipurpose Series 1 ships still require a lot of complementary equipment, one of which is making main engine fuel tanks. In order to make the learning process easier for the following years, several pieces of equipment must be equipped, including the main engine fuel tank. Therefore, in this research, the author intends to make a main engine fuel tank on this Multipurpose Series 1 ship, with the aim of adding one of the additional equipment to the ship and with the aim of facilitating learning about the function of the tanks on board, one of which is the fuel tank. The results of this research obtained a product of daily ship fuel tanks (daily tanks) with the main dimensions 50 cm long, 50 cm wide, 58 cm high with the volume of each tank being 0.134 m3/.
