Abstract
The problem in this study is that the Port Health Quarantine has an important role in preventing the entry and exit of potential infectious diseases and outbreaks, while the purpose of the study is to determine the role of the Health Quarantine in preventing the spread of the corona virus on foreign ships at pier B Pelindo 1 Dumai, to find out also how is the synergy between the Port Health Quarantine and the ship agency PT. Adhigana Paraduta Mulya in minimizing the spread of the corona virus to foreign ships. This study uses data collection methods, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The location of this research is at the Pelindo 1 Dumai pier. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Port Health Quarantine in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus to foreign ships has implemented the role that has been implemented by the government, in minimizing the spread of the corona virus also does not escape the role of Continuity of collaboration and synergy between the Port Health Quarantine and the ship agency PT. . Adigana Paraduta Mulya. To help KKP officers, especially the fast-moving team to deal with covid-19 at the port entrance, which requires synergy between the ship's agency and also stakeholders at the port to urge foreign ships that dock at the Dumai pier to strictly follow it from the officers
