Abstract
This final project research aims to determine the operational procedures applied at PT. Sufie Bahtera Lines Pekanbaru in an effort to improve the Clearance in ship service process at PT. Sufie Bahtera Lines Pekanbaru, to identify obstacles in the implementation of the Clearance in ship service process at PT. Sufie Bahtera Lines Pekanbaru.and the efforts made to improve the in-ship clearance service process. The method used for data collection is the observation and interview method. The place of this research was carried out at PT. Sufie Bahtera Lines which I carried out from April to August 2021. The results obtained in this study were that the inship clearance service process was carried out optimally and has been in accordance with what is determined by the company but there are still shortcomings where at the time of implementing agency services on clearance in the ship it is still late to come to the port to pick up documents, transportation equipment is inadequate, employees are still lacking discipline and the quality of the network is not good.
