Abstract
The threat of enviromental damage and scarcity of natural resources encauragepeople to create and utilize renewable energi source. Biogas is a renewable energy source that utilize materials that are easy to find such as vegetable waste from households or from the market, the easy manufacturing process allows biogas to be produced in areas where it is difficult to get gas or biogas fuels. In creating electrical energy from biogas. Namely using a modified generator set from fuel oil to a biogas fuel generator set by adjusting or adjusting the carburator generator, the generator set specification is 1200 Watt capacity with an output voltage of 220 VAC, in this case it can be councluded that the estimated gas which is produced by calculating the extent of the gas storage plastic on the 20 th day, which is 62 liters or 0.062 m 3 with a no load test lasting for 31 minutes 19 second while the estimate gas produced on the 27 th day is 0.020 m3 or 20 liters by testing using a load of 60 Watt lasted for 8 minutes 7 second and obtained a current of 0.13 A.
