Abstract

Capasitor bank are electrical equioment that is capacitive which functions to balance the induvtive properties. One of the capasitor solutions is to improve the voltage profile, improve cos φ, raduce power losses, eliminate excess charge (kVARh) and avoid line voltage drop. For a series capasitor the reactive power is proportional to the square of the load current. In parallel capasitor, it is proportional to thr square of the voltage. One the goals of installing capasitor bank is reducing energy losses. In the research, the design of the tool uses the control Internet Of Things (Iot) to read the voltage in order to control the voltage through the cellphone. In thus study, the monitoring in question is for monitoring the amount of one phase electricity in real time that is online with Internet Of Things (IOT) technology. This Internet Of Things (IOT) technology is very possible for monitoring the amount of electricity, for this reason, in this final project, the Bank Capasitor Operation System and Monitoring Using the Internet of Things (IOT) in The Electrical Bulding is Made. So that the power used does not exceed the power from PLN, so that it can monitor the use of power loads and electricity tariffs which can make it easier to carry out activities to monitor electrical power consumption in the Bengkalis State Electrical Polytechnic Bulding.
