Abstract

Design and manufacture of automatic grain dryer using the arduino uno based convection method. The goal is to design and manufacture an arduino uno based grain dryer machine, analyzing the electrical energy used in the arduino uno based grain dryer, analyze the percentage reduction in moisture content in the grain dryer, and analyzed the comparison of the drying time of 1 kg with 1,5 kg of grain. From the research results indicate that the drying process is carried out using an automatic dryer it takes a maximum of 60 minutes to dry as much as 1,5 kg of grain with temperature 55°C. The results obtained by the 60 minute process have met the Indonesia national standard for grain moisture content 14%.
