Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of local government characteristics on local government financial performance. The size of the Regional Government, Wealth, Regional Expenditures, Intergovernmental Revenue and Leverage are used to explain the characteristics of the regional government's financial performance. The data used in this study used secondary data. Expenditure realization is obtained from the official website with the link https://www.bps.go.id http://. Meanwhile, Assets, PAD, Regional Expenditures and Realized Income are obtained from the official website www.djpk.kemenkeu.go.id/. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. It is known that Size, Wealth, Regional Expenditure and Leverage have no significant effect on Regional Government Financial Performance, while Intergovermental Revenue has a negative effect on Regional Government Financial Performance.
