Abstract

Changes in land use, both changes in category and intensity will generate traffic so that small or large will have an influence on the surrounding traffic. As a result of the construction of this gas station, it will certainly cause a change in the pattern of vehicle circulation at the location of the gas station construction. This study aims to determine the impact of traffic that occurs due to the construction of gas stations on read performance. To anticipate the occurrence of a fairly large traffic effect on the transportation network around the development, it is necessary to study the impact of traffic performance. The materials used to support this research are the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014) and the Indonesia Road Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). This study aims to determine the impact of traffic that occurs due to the operation of gas stations around the construction of Jalan Jendral Sudriman Sei. Selari. Based on the current ratio between current and capacity, the value of the degree of saturation on holidays (Saturday) is 0.30. and the value of the degree of saturation on weekdats (Monday) is 0.22 <0.35. the campact gas station is included in the conventional gas station with an area of 1000-1200 m2 with an estimated visitor of 400-600 vehicles/hour, so the generation and pull are obtained with service leveks A, DS ,0,35 with free traffic conditions.
