Abstract
Public speaking is the process of speaking to a group of people in a structured, purposeful manner intended to inform, influence, or entertain listeners. Public speaking is not an easy task. Need good language skills. Fear and anxiety become a big problem, especially for beginners who are not experienced in public speaking. To improve the ability to speak in public the author makes a Website-based Public Speaking Application. This public speaking application is made using the RUP method which has 4 stages, namely inception, elaboration, construction and transition. By using this method, software development is done iteratively. The public speaking application that has been built is then tested using blackbox testing and compatibility testing. so that the results of the evaluation of the system on the part of the participants obtained the average value of the percentage of eligibility, which is 80.2% which is included in the good category and on the side of the mentor the average value of the percentage of eligibility is 83.5% which is included in the very good category.
