Abstract

Currently the clothesline problem is still a problem among the general public. Lack of people's remembrance of drying clothes in the sun and forgetting to lift them on a rainy day, the cause of this problem continues to grow. To solve this problem, in this final project an automatic clothesline using a GSM SIM900A based Wiper motor is able to detect rainwater using a rain sensor and detect sunlight using an LDR sensor and can notify users with SMS notifications using GSM SIM900A. When the rain sensor detects rainwater, the motor will move the incoming clothesline and the user will be notified by the entry of an SMS notification from GSM Sim900a, when the LDR sensor detects rainwater, the motor will roll out the clothesline and the user will be notified with the inclusion of an SMS notification from GSM Sim900a. This process will continue to repeat when the rain sensor detects water and the LDR sensor detects sunlight. In the final test, the wiper motor speed is tested for pulling and removing the clothes and the result are obtained from the test that the maximum time required to pull and remove the clothes is 15 seconds. From the result of tests that have been done 10 times, the accuracy rate of the tool is 100 %
