Abstract
The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is one of the government agencies that functions as an institution that specializes in statistical data, namely providing data for the needs of the government and the community. The staffing data processing system at the Bengkalis Regency Statistical Center Office is still inefficient because the existing data is divided into documents, namely Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and there is also data stored in google drive so that the data is not computerized properly. With the above problems, a data processing system for the Bengkalis Regency Statistical Center Office was created which applies the Extreme Programming (XP) method. This system itself is a system for processing data and storing document data and their links into one storage area, making it easier for BPS office employees to access data in one storage area. By applying the extreme programming development method, it is hoped that it can assist in system development. The test method used in the application built is black box testing. The test results are described, the researcher summarizes the following evaluation results using black box testing. used to input data in the form of text, in testing the login form the username validation was successfully carried out, when the user admin and section head entered the wrong username, the application will display an error message.
