Abstract

In reading the Qur'an, there is a science called Tajwid, Tajwid is a word that comes from Arabic, namely Jawwada, Yujawwidu, Tajwidan, which means to improve. To make it easier to read the science of recitation, an application in the form of Augmented Reality was made as an easy and interactive learning tool in the learning process of tajwid still using books and iqra '. This kind of learning process makes students feel bored and less interested, along with the development of technology, elementary school students are already familiar with smartphone technology, students' understanding of smartphones can be utilized with technology-based learning media. By utilizing Augmented Reality technology students can learn tajwid in the form of 3D objects displayed via smartphones. From the tests carried out on 5 elementary school students (SD), by testing the application with every existing feature such as the learning menu, there is material about the science of recitation along with examples of letters and examples of verses, as well as the 3D camera feature can display an example of a verse through a scan marker and produce audio in reading a verse detected in a 3D camera scan. From the results of the tests carried out, it can be concluded that this system can increase student interest in learning and make it easier to understand learning recitation using a mobile smartphone.
