Abstract

Perumda Drinking Water Tirta Terubuk Kab. Bengkalis is a Regional Drinking Water Company which has a special role in distributing clean water to all people in the City of Bengkalis. Every company must experience problems in production or damage to the pump. The problem in this study is the problem of maintenance (maintenance) of centrifugal pumps. The aim is to be able to find out maintenance with the RCM (Reliability Centered Maintainance) method and to be able to know the rate of damage, on a centrifugal pump. This study uses the RCM (Reliability Centered Maintainance) method to analyze the maintenance of the centrifugal pumps used in Perumda Tirta Terubuk Drinking Water, Kab. Bengkalis. The RCM (Reliability Centered Maintainance) method is a method used to analyze maintenance on components that may cause damage to the centrifugal pump. This method aims to determine the rate of damage, reliability of the centrifugal pump. The results of the analysis show that the critical pump components based on the diagram are Pareto and Fishbone which have 5 defects with the highest Rpn value. One of the biggest problems that become priority, the main priority in determining the problem of potential failure in the process of damage to pump components selected based on the Pareto diagram. One of the biggest problems that is a priority is the damaged rubber coupling RPN (300) which has the potential to become a failure in the process of damage to pump components.
