Abstract

Transportation is a means for all people in the world to do activities. To make the fuel oil savings (BBM) in the current transportation is made a tool that is a solar powered car by utilizing the energy of sunlight to drive a DC motor in a solar car. This tool serves to replace the fuel oil (BBM) as a source of transportation equipment at this time. This is what drives people to make the latest innovations in the field of renewable energy utilization. Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that the speed of the solar powered car when it loaded 2 people when advanced 1.43 m / s and at the time of burden 4 people 1.18 m / s solar car use type DC motor 48 VDC / 21 A.
