Abstract

Control system or electronic control unit (ECU) is an electronic component used in motor vehicle system that serves to control the working system of the tool on the accelerator, braking, and motor, the car can utilize from solar power without having to use fuel oil (BBM) and free of air pollution. In this thesis design a solar powered car by utilizing solar radiation as the driving energy of the car. In the control test we get the voltage output on the accelerator of the forward state of 0.56 volt, the output of the gas rectifier voltage of 0.57 volt, the output voltage at the braking of forward and backward conditions 0.56-4.47 value of motor output L1-L2: 11.2 volt, L2-L3: 11.3 volt, L1-L3: 11.4 volt, the voltage drop in voltage value from the initial voltage of 13.4 volt to 9.5 volt.
