Abstract
Protection equipment is a device that serves to protect equipment from disturbances so that it can avoid or reduce damage to electrical equipment and events that are not desired such as fires. The faster the reaction of a protection device installed in a system, the less the influence of interference on the device or system protected from damage. The results of this study aim to create a prototype for monitoring usage and also limiting the use of power that can regulate and control the use of electricity in order to minimize electricity usage. this tool can be used to monitor the current, voltage and can limit the electrical power we want The test results from the overall data indicate the tool can work in accordance with its function, when testing can be analyzed if the power limit load then the relay works automatically will die, the power limit that disconnects the relay when measuring the load depends on the measured load Relay only works with the 10A limit Then the load that can only be measured does not exceed the power of the relay, if the load exceeds the relay limit automatically the relay will be damaged or not functioning anymore. The key: Arduino Uno R3, LCD (Liquid Crystal ), Kaypad and voltage sensor
