Abstract

This paper a prototype of a power plant was made with the use of magnetic force (PLTM) using a pure Neodymium magnet in the form of a bar that has a very strong tensile and repulsive force so that it can be used in a designed plant. The initial stage of the design of this building by conducting data collection, making a prototype generator, and testing the power plant prototype. Based on the results of testing the power plant prototype with the use of magnetic force to get a power value of 0.35 Watt using a load and the effect of magnetic flux size of 50 x 25 x 10 (mm) equivalent to 1.025 weber, and a magnet size of 30 x 10 x 1 (mm) equivalent 0 , 24 weber. But in testing using loads and without the influence of magnetic flux it gets a power value of 0.35 Watt. So it can be concluded with the influence of magnetic flux and without the influence of magnetic flux, the power values obtained are the same so that the magnet does not affect the rotation speed. increase or speed up the rotation.
