Abstract
Micro-hydro power plants (PLTMH) are small-scale power plants. Usually this plant is built in a place where there is no electricity, but this plant usually requires enough water to be used as a source of lighting. Before this PLTMH is planned, potential studies are needed in the field to determine the feasibility of the water source. The researcher here only discusses boost converter which is useful to convert low input voltage to high output voltage (voltage increase). The boost converter output voltage is between 2-27 V. From the results of the test data that has been done, the greater the voltage, the minimum current obtained increases. For maximum current, the greater the voltage, the maximum current obtained decreases. From the test data, the greater the voltage, the minimum power obtained will increase. For maximum input voltage of 4 V, the maximum power obtained remains at 2.43 W.
