Abstract

The growth of electrical energy continues to increase from time to time in line with increased economic activity and social welfare. Increasing the growth of electrical energy will certainly use up the current non-renewable energy source if its utilization is ineffective and inefficient. In the use of electrical energy, sometimes it is not known how much energy has been used, so there tends to be a waste of electricity. Therefore, to find out the amount of electrical energy that is being used, it is necessary to measure the use of electrical energy. The purpose of this research is to facilitate measurement of voltage and current. The method used in this study is to read the Current and Voltage Values and display on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display ), and Arduio Mega is the main controller for reading the value of the voltage sensor and current sensor. The sensors used are the ZMPT101B sensor and the ACS712 sensor. The results of measurements with prototypes with an average error for voltage measurements reach 0.3%, and measurement of currents 0.2%, and for the accuracy level is 95.05%.
