Abstract

The process of drying crackers mostly still uses the help of sunlight which takes about 7 hours. To overcome these obstacles, a cracker dryer has been designed, but there are still many things that can be improved and improved from the model side. The purpose of making a cracker dryer makes it easier for people who have a business making crackers. With this cracker dryer so that the bad weather the drying process continues. Control the voltage of the use of electrical energy used in the cracker dryer using the PID (Proportional Integral And Drivative) control sequentially and simultaneously control the ON / OFF use of electrical energy in the cracker dryer. Each test using crackers is done for 4 hours of testing with setpoint 50, gets unsatisfactory results, and does another test for 4 hours, From the ON OFF control test the values before 1.83 kwh and after 1.99 kwh results obtained from the reduction of the value before and after and the results of 0.16 kwh during the 4 hour test.
