Abstract

Public street lighting is a light that lights a public road as a place of traffic access for motorbike riders, cars and pedestrians. To get optimal lighting in accordance with applicable regulations, periodic maintenance needs to be done, including repairs if there is damage. To find out if there is damage to the street lights quickly then a road lamp damage monitoring tool is made, this tool uses Arduino as the main component, then the LDR sensor as a lighting reader sensor on the lamp during operation, and the GSM module functions as a data sender to the handphone. This tool is designed to detect damage to public street lights detected by the LDR sensor. This tool was made using two LDR sensors for one lamp as an experiment. After several attempts of this method, it appears to be working well to detect damage to public street lighting, this system can save time in monitoring the condition of street lighting, and also saves monthly expenditure for monitoring street lighting.
