Abstract

With the rapid development of technology at this point, many things that were previously done manually is possible with an automated way to simplify and save in the use of time. No exception in terms of walking aids for the disabled leg. So designed tools that facilitate the activities for the disabled that is, the electric wheelchair. So the designed electric wheelchair movement a control method which utilizing neck movement. Neck motion such as up down, tilt left and tilt right motion can be recognized appropriatly. Wheelchair motion will be controlled using those neck motion. Neck motion that ha been conducted during accuracy testing with duration 2 until 3 seconds, with average angle 45 degrees, and with duration 4 until 5 seconds, with average angle 80 until 90 degrees can be recognize accurately with 90% percentage.
