Abstract

This study aims to determine the flow of supply chain management, obstacles during the supply chain process, and solutions taken when supply chain bottlenecks occur on paper at PT. IKPP. This research uses a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The object of research is PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk-Perawang Mill. The result of this research is supply chain management at PT. IKPP has three process flows consisting of Order Process, Production Planning Process, and Logistics Process. Obstacles to the supply chain process are late orders, excess incoming capacity or allocation and not in accordance with the specified sales budget, length of the container drawing calculation process, system error, incomplete information, length of time for orders to be confirmed as sales confirmations, late payments received, outstanding debts unpaid, overlimit, unrealized credit block, unavailable packaging, customer decel not in accordance with paper machine mill, quality issue, insufficient trucking, unavailable container, unavailable space, lack of tools when stuffing. The solutions implemented are reminders to related parties, mentioning contracts, collaborating with IT for system errors, reviewing and conducting meetings, negotiating for block schedule reservations, forecasting to provide Safety Stock, booking space, collaborating with parties whose forklifts can lent.
