Abstract

There are still many government offices and companies that manually record employee attendance, a frequent manipulation of attendance records is caused by using attendance records at the time of entry and exit Reducing the efficiency and accuracy of the company's productivity optimization. This system aims to design a prototype RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) attendance system that is integrated with the database to support the program to improve employee discipline as the first step in improving the company's overall work performance. A prototype RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) attendance system utilizes an ESP8266 microcontroller to process inputs and control outputs. The input is processed in the form of an RFID tag containing the name and UID as well as a description of the time as an entry requirement. While the controlled output is the monitor. Monitor functions to display characters in the form of name, uid, date and time description. The data can be received well by the microcontroller, the microcontroller can display the data received from the RFID reader on the monitor and the data is the same as the data contained in the RFID Tag.
