Abstract

MeetUp Cafe is one of the cafes in Pekanbaru, Riau, which offers a variety of food and beverage menus. MeetUp Cafe is still manually recording orders; thus, it experiences various obstacles such as the length of the service process during menu ordering, the order in which orders are made, the distinction between the orders served and those ordered, and the difference between the number of order data recorded with the data in the captain ordered. Consequently, Food and Beverage Menu Ordering Application was developed at a Website-Based MeetUp Cafe to overcome these hurdles. This application is equipped with a Generate QR Code function, which can generate a QR Code for each table and is designed utilising the PHP and MySQL programming languages as a database management system. The test employed was Black Box testing, where testing in the admin display section and customer display was carried out directly by users at MeetUp Cafe by testing every feature available on the system, whether it runs successfully and as expected. From the test results, it can be inferred that the existing features have succeeded in operating as expected. In addition, based on the response of user testing, it can be concluded that the existence of this application provide it simpler for customers to process food and beverage menu orders use the QR Code scan feature and provides efficiency in updating menu lists and recording reports from ordering transaction at MeetUp Cafe.
