Abstract
Rusunawa Satbrimob Polda Kepri Building located in Batam City is an apartment specially made for members Indonesian National Police consists of 4 floors and will be replanned from a steel structure to a reinforced concrete structure that will refer to SNI 2847:2019 with loading based on SNI 1727:2020 and also considering earthquake loads as regulated in SNI 1726:2019. Based on the calculation of earthquake loads, the columns are planned to use the Special Moment Resistant Frame System. The modeling was carried out with the help of the Etabs 2013program. Based on the calculations, there are 4 types of square columns with different dimensions, namely 500 x 500 mm, 450 x 450 mm, 350 x 350 mm and 300 x 300 mm with longitudinal reinforcement in the largest column using 16D19 and reinforcement transverse area of the plastic hinge uses 3Ø13-100 mm and in the area outside the plastic hinge zone it uses 2Ø13-100 mm. Based on the calculation of the Cost Budget Plan, it was found that the value of the reinforced concrete structure work is greater than the work using steel structures respectively with a value of Rp. 2.668.279.000, 00 and Rp. 2.827.910,000.00
