Abstract

Electric lights are one of the biggest contributors to the use of electric power. It is evident from the frequency that the lights are still on even when they are not in use. Therefore, it is necessary to create a lamp control system that is able to monitor remote lights. People with disabilities are often people who cannot be productive in doing something. Therefore, this system is applied to electronic equipment such as lights to help people with work easier. People with disabilities can open the ESP IP address to turn the lights on and off without having to press the switch. NodeMCU is an open source IoT platform and helps in making IoT product prototypes or you can use a sketch with the Arduino IDE. This study aims to design a system that can control electrical devices (lights) remotely at the same or different locations via WiFi and Web applications, the distance that can be traveled for a lamp control system is 50 meters with the NodeMCU ESP8266 module as a microcontroller. Based on the results of the experiments carried out, it can be concluded that the system can work well according to the purpose and the IP ESP on the serial monitor can be used.
