Abstract

This research was conducted at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic and Industry/MSMEs on the island of Bengkalis. Without an intensive collaboration between the world of work and the world of higher education, maximum results will not be created if each party runs individually. The development of science and technology in higher education is still not oriented towards meeting the needs or solving industrial problems. From these problems, a Collaboration Platform for Higher Education and Industry on Bengkalis Island was proposed. The purpose of this platform is to build a web-based Collaboration Platform. Industry can offer business problems to be solved jointly which can involve universities, lecturers and students, universities can offer problem solving proposals (in various forms of research results, ideas, ideas, products, etc.) to be used by Industry. Then business/industry actors will discuss and collaborate. This system researchers use the PHP programming language, this language is used to build Web applications, while the databases used are MySQL and Laravel Framework. This application can run well using Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers.
