Abstract

The purpose of making this final project is to create a practicum learning media in the form of a trainer kit for controlling a three-phase forward reverse induction motor as well as an analysis of the starting current for voltage variations. In this study using 3 induction motors with a capacity of 0.95 kW or 950 Watts, 380V and 4 poles (∆). The first test was done manually, the staring forward current measured 2.76 A, calculated 2.77A and for the starting reverse current measured 2.82 A, calculated the same as 2.82 A when the voltage is 380V. While the second test is carried out automatically, the measured forward starting current of 2.71 A is the same as the calculated 2.7A and the measured reverse is 2.83A the same as the calculated 2.82 A.
