Abstract
This research has been carried out with the aim of knowing how the process of requesting ship goods and what are the obstacles faced during the process of requesting and shipping goods for ships, this final project research was carried out at PT. Tirta Permai Bahari Dumai Branch starting from February to July 2022. The method used by the author in finding the problem is the method of observation, interviews and documentation with employees and directly observing the process in the company, the results of this study indicate that delays in the delivery process of necessities ships can be overcome by using time efficiency methods and those who handle the delivery of goods must be more responsive so that obstacles that occur such as the fulfillment time of goods are too long, responsive agents and purcashing performance can be overcome during the request process and delivery of ship needs.
