Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Pengarsipan Dokumen Berbasis WebSite PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional III Kebun Air Molek II

Document archiving at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional III Kebun Air Molek II is still carried out manually using archive folders, storage racks, and archive logbooks. This condition causes document retrieval to take a considerable amount of time, increases the risk of document loss or damage, and reduces the effectiveness of the company's archive management. This study aims to design and develop a web-based document archiving application for PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional III Kebun Air Molek II to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of document archive management. This research employed a qualitative research method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was tested using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that every application function operated according to user requirements. The application was developed using the Laravel framework, MySQL as the database management system, and Tailwind CSS as the user interface framework. The system provides three user roles, namely administrator, employee staff, and management, with features including digital archive management, document uploading, main archive management, document categories, department management, document search, archive monitoring, activity logs, user management, and archive report generation. The results of the study indicate that the application was successfully implemented, and all main features functioned properly based on Black Box Testing. The application facilitates document storage, management, retrieval, and reporting in a faster, more secure, and more organized manner than the previous manual system, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of document management at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional III Kebun Air Molek II.
