Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of fraud diamonds on the tendency of cheating in tertiary institutions at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic. This research is a type of quantitative research using primary data sources (questionnaires). The population in this study is the state civil apparatus at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic with a sample of 127 respondents. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis method with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results of the questionnaire were tested for validity and reliability before conducting research data. Prerequisite analysis test includes normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, partial test (T test) and simultaneous test. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach where the aim is to research which includes the effect of the fraud diamond on the tendency of fraud. Data analysis aims to simplify the processed data, making it easy to read and interpret. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that there is a simultaneous or simultaneous effect of all independent variables, namely fraud diamond, on the tendency of employee fraud.
