Abstract
Damage to mangroves can be seen in several places, whether for certain purposes or not, around the shrimp ponds that used to be mangrove areas can still be found fallen trees in vain. Even next to the International Harbor in the Malacca Strait, there is a Nypa Fructian mangrove, which is bordered by the first coastal vegetation from the sea. This proves that several types of mangroves that should have existed before Nypa Frutican have been damaged or lost. In order for the public to know the importance of conserving mangroves for the city of Bengkalis, it is necessary to convey information about the distribution of mangrove land and the importance of mangroves for the city of Bengkalis. To find out more about mangroves, you must first go to the environmental and community study group (Keslimasy). Therefore, a mangrove mapping application was made on the island of Bengkalis, which is a web-based application that can make it easier for nongovernmental groups to find out the distribution of mangroves on the island of Bengkalis, Bengkalis Regency. The result of this research is to make a map application of mangrove land on the island of Bengkalis that can be used by the community and keslimasy, this map of the distribution of mangrove land is processed using Leafletjs. The method used to build a Visualization Mapping Application for the Distribution of Mangrove Land in Bengkalis Island, the researchers used a prototyping methodology.
