Abstract

The control system automatically makes technology growing rapidly so that it can be used in various fields, especially in the plantation sector. Drying cinnamon using an automatic control system can be the answer to efficiency problems that occur in the process. By using the automatic control system method, the drying process can be carried out using a smartphone. The rain sensor contained in this cinnamon dryer will make the shelf enter automatically when the sensor is exposed to water. With 6 hours of drying, it can produce ± 500 grams of dried cinnamon bark which is ready to be harvested, marketed or even consumed. So that the use of materials in this tool is very influential to speed up the drying process under the sun's rays.
