Abstract
Operate and create Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control programs. The requirement for obtaining these competencies is the availability of a presentative practicum module, so that students' abilities are as expected. In this study, a presentative module that is easily understood by students is very much needed in developing their competence. With a simple and economical concept, this module can be imitated and made by students, so it can be studied by students either individually or in groups either with guidance or without the guidance of a lecturer. The results of the research are PLC Outseals practicum module based on Arduino controller device. By using a ladder programming language, the flow of control logic can be easily understood. Another result is a tutorial on how to make a program and its operation, and a basic practicum job. The effect of the research results is the ability to do practicum is getting better and some students' final assignments use the controller application.
