Abstract
Dumai City is a developing area, especially in the industrial sector. The movement of goods transportation in Dumai City is increasing every year. At this time, the route of the movement of goods transportation has only one alternative, resulting in an increase in the volume of the route passed. From the problems that occur, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the freight vehicle route to find out whether the route is still biased to accommodate the vehicles being passed.The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the route of freight vehicles based on the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) and modeling using the PTV Visum 22 application.From the results of the evaluation, it was found that the value of the highest degree of saturation on Jalan Soekarno Hatta (Rawa Panjang) on Saturday was 0.63 Skr/hour (no traffic jams) which means that the route can still accommodate vehicles, so handling does not need to be done. modeling using the PTV Visum 22 application shows that the highest loading of freight vehicles occurs on Jl. Soekarno Hatta (Rawa Panjang) which connects zone 1 to zone 2 is 271 movements.
