Abstract

Design and build a biomass power plant using liquid rubber latex waste. Along with the times, the use of energy in Indonesia in general is increasing rapidly in line with population growth, economic growth and technological developments. Currently, more than 90% of energy use uses fossil fuels, namely oil 54.4%, gas 26.5%, and coal 14.1%. For geothermal energy of 1.4%, hydropower 3.4%, while other new and renewable energy (EBT) 0.2 The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the biomass of waste rubber latex (latex) as fuel for generator sets generate electricity. The benefits of making this tool are helping the community in managing rubber latex waste as an energy source for power plants, especially the impact of less pollution from the unpleasant odors produced, as well as solving the energy crisis problem by researching rubber latex waste as biomass which is one of the biggest problems. a new and renewable energy(EBT).
