Abstract

Agricultural products in Indonesia, especially in Bengkalis Regency, are the main source of meeting food needs. Irrigation of water and provision of nutrients is important for plants to thrive. This is the motivation to create an irrigation system and provide nutrition to agricultural land by utilizing solar cells. The working system of this tool utilizes solar cells as a converter of solar energy into electrical energy to operate the components in the system. Distribution of irrigation water sources to reservoirs using a DC water pump. The provision of irrigation and nutrition uses a solenoid valve as an automatic valve whose work system has been set in the tool program. This tool uses a solar cell with a power of 200 WP with a power requirement of 102.8565 W and the average voltage, current, power and time required to fill an 80 L reservoir are 6.89 V, 4.05 A, 27.86 W and 3 minutes 8 seconds and the average voltage, current, power and time required when the nutrition system works are 12.12 V, 3.35 A, 36.53 W and 1 minute with the percentage of success in the overall test is 88.9% and the percentage of failure in the test is 11.1% due to rain conditions so the system cannot work.
