Abstract

Parit Bangkung River is a river that is quite far away from the sea. This river is the only river that is the largest in the Parit Bangkung Village area. For this reason, I took this title to understand more about sedimentation and its sedimentation rate per 2 months, so a survey with a geographic information system orientation is needed. This study describes a geographic information system that produces, activity locations, sedimentation height, sedimentation rate, location coordinates and location maps in the form of contour maps. At the research stage and data processing using the results of field surveys, which are processed with civil 3D software, Microsoft Excel, and integrated with Gps coordinate data, to get the accuracy of the maps made precisely. The method used in this research is the terrestrial method, which means conducting a direct field survey. The results obtained during a 2-month survey of contour maps and sedimentation rates in the form of maps and calculation forms, from these results it can be concluded that the annual sedimentation can be predicted and can be a guide for monitoring sedimentation conditions in the Parit Bangkung village river
