Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder in children that causes his body to be shorter than his peers. A form of failure to grow a baby due to insufficient nutrion that lasts from pregnancy until the baby is 24 months old. In the village of KembungLuar there is a problem of stunting which continues to increase from year to year, but from 2020 to 2021 the number has decreased. In 2020 the prevalence of stunting was 18.24 while in 2021 it was 2.50. Based on these problems, it can be supported by advances in technology and computerization and data processing program. This research builds a decision support system application to determine the nutritional status of toddlers as measured by variabel data, namely age, sex, weight according to age (BB/U), length. Body or Height for age (PB/U or TB/U), and Body Mass Index for Age (BMI/U) using the Naie Bayes method. The Naïve Bayes method is a statistical approach to perform inductive inference on classification problems. This method uses conditional probability as the basis, while the criteria used in this method are six criteria. From these criteria a calculation process is carried outin order to get the results of normal nutritional status or at risk of stunting.
