Abstract

Road pavement is a mixture of aggregates and binders made by humans of various shapes and sizes to withstand traffic loads. Lack of care and maintenance on the surface of the road pavement is one of the factors of damage to the road. The types of damage at Bina Marga 1990 were surface roughness, holes, patches, cracks, grooves, and subsidence. The 1990 Bina Marga method has the final result of a road maintenance program on the surface of the pavement based on the order of priority values. Observations were made on the 2.5 km Sudirman-Arifin Ahmad road which was divided into 25 segments, the types of damage that occurred were longitudinal cracks, transverse cracks, random cracks, crocodile cracks, subsidence, patches and holes. The damage area of the 1990 Bina Marga method on the Jendral Sudirman-Arifin Ahmad road is 794.3615 m², the value of the priority sequence for segments 1 - 25 > 7, is included in the routine maintenance program, the type of treatment recommended is patching and sealing. Based on the total damage volume of 25,91936 m³, the required cost for this type of handling is Rp. 45,614,938.
