Abstract

For the new building of ship, it has found waste material is too much, its can be happened because the plan of material cutting is noting. The solfer is needed plan of material cutting (Cutting Plan). Cutting Plan is a method used by the enginer in the shipyard to estimate how many material needed and to get a cutting from of some contructions of ship. The proces of cutting plan is in a certain place projrction or dimension of some contruction of ship what will used I building process. To capture a flswless cutting, detail of shi[ for all contruction is necessary to own or known. The purpose of this Cutting Plan is to get a efficient waste material that less then 5% according to key performance indicator data by PT. kukar mandiri shipyard. The end product of this final project is calculation tabel and buy material with Microsoft Excel, cutting from on AutoCAD and optimation of waste material for bracket material and another contruction. With Cutting Plan method, waste material for this case is …. And its less than 5% (Sumber Dodi Hidayat 2015 )
