Abstract
The roof is one of the main construction in a building and has a high aesthetic value in designing the building. In addition, the function of the roof on a building, among others, a shelter from the sunny / rainy weather, determining the angle of room lightingand room temperature controller from direct sunlight. This study aims to provide a roof automation that can be utilized in the home as a light and control room temperature. Opening and closing the roof will be controlled by using Arduino Uno microcontroller coupled with LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor, raindrop sensor and DHT11 temperature sensor, where these sensors will work according to weather detection. The LDR sensor works accordingly when the roof's hot weather opens, raindrop sensor will function when the sensor is water dropped and the roof is closed, and the DHT11 temperature sensor will be detected if the roof heat of the room will be closed. From the test results of the system note that the system can read the conditions of hot weather and rain water drops working at the time terdeteksiair. The DHT11 temperature sensor can provide room temperature at 30 ° C whenever the sun's heat energy is generated. Automatic alpha system has 20% percentage errors.
