Abstract

Having pets is a hobby of its own because not everyone has a desire to love and care for them, in this modern world. Technological developments have urged human life to be automatic including automatic animal feeders. In the making of this tool can give an innovation in the development of technology to facilitate the animal owner in the animal feeder. Components used in this tool are Arduino Uno as data processor, load cell sensor as animal body weight counter, character LCD to display data read by sensor. The weight of the animal body becomes the standard of the amount of food the appliance ejects. In the design of this tool works well but so less accurate because of type of sensors that are too sensitive load cell that affects the value or the results of readings on the weighing tool is displayed to the LCD. The result of this tool if there is 1 kg input load then output coming out from Load cell 1.2 kg and servo motor will open for 1 minute. This load cell sensor maximum 1-5 kg with error between 0,167 - 0,153%.
