Abstract

In general, traffic lights function to regulate the traffic function, and also to minimize congestion. The traffic lights will regulate the density of vehicles both two-wheeled, tricycle and four-wheeled vehicles at each The traffic light function is to regulate and also to minimize congestion. The traffic lights will regulate the density of vehicles both two-wheeled, tricycle and four-wheeled vehicles at each intersection. However, this time the inequality of every place and time of the hour busy in determining the traffic density and also the volume of vehicles in each lane makes the traffic lights at crossroads become ineffective. Therefore, a design is needed to control the traffic system. As for one of the efforts that was done in order to overcome it, namely by creating a control system. In this final project, a traffic light system will be developed to set the time for busy hours of Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night. The traffic light regulator prototype based on the busy hours is more effective to reduce congestion.
