Abstract

One of the technologies applied to parking systems is the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). However, there are still weaknesses in the use of RFID, namely having to carry an RFID card for access to the parking system. So in this research, a parking gate security system implementation was made by using the Fingerprint Sensor / Fingerprint Sensor as an access to exit and for input using a push button. Implementation of this system is done by using hardware and software and using Electronic components. This system works with a fingerprint scanner that will scan the rider's fingerprint which will then be stored in the Fingerprint sensor and enter the Arduino Mega microcontroller to run the motor drive and move the Gearbox motor to open the bars. After testing the Fingerprint sensor it was found that the results of this tool have an accuracy of 98%,
