Abstract

In general, cutting cinnamon sticks still uses conventional techniques, namely using a simple machine and using a cutting knife. However, there are still disadvantages to using it, namely having to use conventional energy to push cinnamon onto a cutting knife. so in this study an automatic cutting system implementation was made using an ultrasonic sensor as a gauge for cutting cinnamon bark sticks and arduino as a microcontroller. This system works when the Keypad is pressed according to the desired size and the motor will be active. Proximity detects Cinnamon Stick skin and active table and cutting motor motors. After testing the ultrasonic sensor it is found that the results of this tool have an accuracy of 90%
