Abstract
Pneumatic and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is an integral unit of major in Electrical Engineering, because it is a teaching material for students. Its applications are very often encountered in industry and in public places such as automatic turnstiles, goods distribution systems, and packaging. In carrying out the practicum, the application of Pneumatic and PLC systems is still not extensive, this is due to the lack of practicum modules for Pneumatic and PLC systems to broaden the teaching and learning process at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic Electrical Engineering. and PLC by applying to conveyors. This study aims to make a goods transfer module using a PLC-based robot arm. Pneumatic and pneumatic automation have been widely applied in the world of industry and also in everyday life to help with simple mechanical work even very complex systems. In this final project, the pneumatic component is used as the final control element on the plate transfer robot arm. For the controller a Programmable Logic Controller is used.
