Abstract
Onion is a low plant that grows upright with a height can reach 15-50 cm, forming clumps and including seasonal plants. Root fibrous is not long and not too deep. This plant includes not drought resistant. This research uses objects such as fried onion sellers and fried onion producers. Respondents who as the object of research amounted to 20 people. Data collection method used in this research is survey research directly to field. To analyze it using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. The results of data analysis obtained data to develop tool onion chopper with each weight that is, onion chopper tool must use electric motor with percentage weight as much 23,97%, chisel onion cutting using cuter knife with weight percentage as much as 13,57%, tool Onion chopper should be simple with the percentage of 13.4%, the position of chisel onion tool can be changed as much as 11.9%, the age of the onion chopper tool 3-4 years as much as 10.4%, dimesni tool onions chopper as much as 7.53%, order Onion chopper tool with 7,33% elbow plate steel, tool of red chopped onion as much as 6,2%, tool chopped shaped garlic as much as 3,3%, heavy tool of onion chopper 5-6 kg.
