Abstract
Pulau Panjang is an island on the western side of Sumatra Island, located in Nagari Aia Bangih, Sungai Beremas District, West Pasaman Regerency. Pulau Panjang is one of the echanting tourist dstinations in West Pasaman, every visitor is not only presented with beautiful coral scenery, white sand with sloping beaches and the hospitality of the people there who still hold tight to the culture. The purpose of this final project is to design a catamaran type tourist ship to support Pulau Panjang tourism. With a passenger capacity of 32 people, the main size of the ship is obtained, LOA = 18,32 m, Lwl = 18,18 m, Lpp = 17,82, B = 6,58, H = 2,3 m, T = 1,54 m, Vs = 15 knots. The process of making the hull using Maxsurf Modeler Advance, then modified using Autocad to get the Lines Plan design, and General Arrangement. For the stability of this tourist ship the author uses the IMO A(749) Ch-3standard, as well as safety equipment on the ship referring to SOLAS, namely threre are 32 passenger lifecraft placed on the underseat, 4 lifebouys and 2 liferafts are in the outdoor ships, as well as for passenger gathering points in the event of an emergency outside the ship.
